Magazine’s Corporate Excellence Awards Honors Executives Who Innovate, Grow Respective Industries

PHILADELPHIA – MAY 2, 2019 – SmartMark Communications, a global leader in strategic communications and the parent company of SmartEnergy IP™, announced today that founder and CEO Juliet Shavit has been named the “Most Influential CEO of the Year” in strategic communications for 2019 by Corporate Vision (CV) Magazine’s Corporate Excellence Awards.

Shavit was awarded for her innovative approach to communications and market positioning, working with companies and organizations to help understand the role of how emerging technologies improve customer experience. Her areas of expertise include smart grid, smart city, smart home and the integration of music in customer experience.

Shavit is considered an expert on the importance of customers in the adoption of new technologies. She recently authored a smart cities roadmap for the American Public Power Association and is the founder of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Smart Grid Customer Engagement Working Group. Her firm also hosts the Smart Grid Customer Education Symposium annually.
